FRENCH DOCTORS / Improvisation, France
(Sébastien Borgo, Franq De Quengo, Olivier Manchion, Nicolas Marmin, Edward Perraud) is a french collective of live improvised music.
 
They founded the project performing with "legendary CAN singer" Damo Suzuki on October 5, 2003, at the Cafe de la Danse in Paris. This performance was released later as "Hollyaris" (cd2).
 
They did several other concerts with Damo in France (a French tour in 2003, featuring Anla Courtis of Reynols in Roubaix and Jean-Hervé Peron of Faust in Nantes). Jérôme Florenville followed the tour and directed a documentary about ("Le Chant de l'Imprévu").
 
They're all involved into the french scene since late 80s/early 90s and the number of projects in which they are or have been represents a huge amount of names.Some are aka_Bondage, Dragibus, Sun Plexus, Sun Plexus 2, Ulan Bator, Permanent Fatal Error, Big, Calx, Hubbub, Das Kapital, Osaka Bondage, Miss Marvel, Schams, Shub Niggurath, Sleaze Art..., collaborations with Faust, Damo Suzuki, Alan Courtis, Nihilist Spasm Band, Nicolas Humbert, Mike Pullen (Circle X), eRikm, Quentin Rollet, Black Sifichi, Norscq, Xabier Iriondo, Von Magnet..., also Bimbo Tower shop, Radio Libertaire (Epsilonia) and Radio Alligre, Push, Ortie, Plateformes, Sonic Protest Festival, ...
